Rythym | Plane
For this model, I was inspired by blocky buildings such as the "Nakagin Capsule Tower" in Japan as well as plane shapes like cinder blocks. I was enticed by the idea of making a rythymic pattern with the method of stacking.
Rythym | Line
I knew that for this project, I wanted to experiment a bit with natural patterns as well. Thus I took inspiration from natural lines and the shape of clouds and integrated it into my 2nd model.
Rythym | Point
Despite the project being mroe abstract oriented rather than being functional. I had an idea for a rythymic point structure that I wanted to build out. It was inspired by the "Superblocks" in Barcelona, Spain. I imagined it to be an open space built only for human traffic.
Rythym | Line & Plane
For my final model, I knew I wanted it to stand out. At the time, I liked what I did for my line model and thus I looked more into natural rythymic patterns as was drawn to flower patterns. I also researched a bit of the different Architecture styles as I wanted to learn from them in order to make something my own.
Tattoo Stamps
Outcome
This project proved to be an enjoying 1st experience into the field of Architecture for a total amatuer. It gave me the opportunity to explore structural designs whilst also not being extremely harsh in terms of its grade weightage so students like me are more willing to take up risk to discover what they're capable of.

Overall, I found it very helpful as it built my foundation skills in structure design and model making.
Overview
In our first Project in Architecture, we were assigned to design abstract models with an Architectural theme along side the given principles: Point, Plane and Line. It was mainly to test our capability in integrating artistic features into our structures. We were also tasked to draw out abstract tattoo stamps of our final model.

For me, I chose rythym as my theme as I admired the natural and fluid look at it had. I was always interested with natural designs so I wanted to see what I could do with the given task.
